Bringin' the Romance...

All right Dudes...
How do you bring the romance in your relationships? We got to get more creative, and quit waiting to be romanced, 'cause if your relationship is like mine, your lady is waiting for you to take some initiative and bring some magic. Here are some of my ideas:

-leave notes around in her sock drawer, and on the mirror in the bathroom saying "Your husband still loves you, and is craving your touch...

-Anything to change the normal routine...spontaneity is romantic...candles, flowers... it's not the gift, but the thought

-DATE NIGHT! The relationship must be a priority

-no matter how shitty your day was…never, ever dump it on her, leave it at work, and kiss her when you walk in the door at night

-dress up for Halloween parties as a couple together

-simply hold the intention to make more space in the relationship for romance

-Take Ballroom dance lessons together

-Simply do stuff together, even if it seems like a one person job

-be attentive to her at parties, try to make her feel attractive, especially if she’s not feeling pretty that evening.

-when she’s sick, keep the house extra clean and together so she can relax and get well.

-listen to her when she’s talking about what she wants/needs and don’t forget

-jot down romantic ideas, as they come to you, so you wont forget them later

-show up emotionally in the relationship and ask for what you want/need

-Warm the massage oil when giving her a massage

- Cook for her, or together…

-Plan a secret pampering day/weekend for her. Tell her that you are going to do something that is a surprise, and block the time out for her. Then leave an envelope on the kitchen table with a gift cert. for a pedicure. When she's done with the pedicure, then they will give her another envelope that will send her off to get a massage, then another envelope that take her to a lunch....all the way until the evening, when you take her to the theater, or the opera, or off on a long weekend getaway...
