What would you do?

When the man I posted on DDHG found his profile, he responded by adding hundreds of comments in an attempt to humiliate me (referred to me as a cum dump, whore, etc.), and he also stooped low enough to use the names of my children in his comments (he referred to sex acts taking place in my child's bed - never happened, of course - and he also alluded to someone fucking my older daughter, just to name a few examples).

After some time passed, I painstakingly copied all of the comments from that original post into a Word document. I did a search/replace for every instance wherein the name of one of my children appeared and edited it to read NAME DELETED, but I kept the remainder of the comments intact. I then created a new profile of him and copied all of the original (now edited) comments.

This bastard had used the name of one or both of my children over 20 times in his comments.

The other day, I received a call from someone on behalf of the man I posted. This individual appealed to my compassionate nature and requested that I remove this man's profile ""for the sake of his children.""

Say what?

The reason I re-posted the original comments in the new profile is because all of his comments support the description I gave of him in the profile (narcissist, misogynist, cancer to women), including the lowest levels to which he stooped by using the names of my children.

And now he wants me to remove the post for the sake of his children. Unbelievable.

So, I am once again angry about this person and his lack of character. Though, I am conflicted with regard to potentially bringing harm to his children. Because I, unlike him, do have compassion and empathy and would never actively seek to harm any child.

So, what would you do? Advice, please.

I am sorry, but I don't see where the dilema is. He is a disgusting creature, with no regard for anyone but himself. He has shamed you, shamed your children, shamed his own children and shamed himself. He wasn't even man enough to request his profile be removed- He had someone else do it. You now have only one question: Are you more worried about what his children amy or may not read on this website, or are you more concerned about the countless other victims that he may lure in?

Leave the post up. The guy I posted here guilted me into removing it by playing the mom card...he said his mother had been receiving hang up calls and he was afraid for her safety.

His children aldready are witness to his bad behavior daily through the way he's treating their mother and them. They are who they are. So I can't see where your post is causing any more pain where there is already pain. They way he treated your children is the way he treats his other childred. If and when they ever read it, they'll probably say, that sounds just like my dad. Not sure of their ages but in the event they are old enough is what I mean. Anyway, this site is a forum for women to go to search men before dating them. If a teenager wants to look up her dad then it's available also, but what good is it to hide who you are from your children, or cheat on their mother, or treat other people badly, like your ex and your children from a previous marriage. It just exposes the scum for who he is a person to EVERYONE around him. HE SHOULD PAY FOR THE PAIN HE CAUSES PEOPLE, HE should protect his children by leading by example and treating ALL people with respect. LEAVE IT UP. This site isn't meant for children and you're not posting it for children to read so you have no responsibilty here, HE DOES!
